Henry Eric Hernández is a transdisciplinary artist and social researcher who was born in Cuba. He is a Graduate in Fine Arts from the Higher Art Institute of Havana and earned a Ph.D in media studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has received fellowships from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, The Christoph Merian Stiftung, The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Geneva-Havana. He has also received numerous grants and residences, including Artist in Residence, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation in Madrid; Artist in Residence, Neutral Ground-Contemporary Art Forum; and the Saloni Cultural Association Art Prize.
